In order to reinforce the Quality team of the headquarters in Biel, Switzerland, SWATCH is currently searching for a

Quality Specialist 100% (F/M) 

As part of the Quality team, you are responsible to reach and maintain the high quality standards for all the products of the brand. 

Main tasks will include:
• Conduct a quality assurance organization and define responsibilities, create process, workflows and key activities of all internal and external stakeholders. 
• Support technical projects and assist the Product Development department in the creation of new products by assessing new functionalities and materials as well as new manufacturing processes.
• Support the prototyping phase, organize and supervise the homologation and the quality planning, as well as release new products for sales. 
• Enforce the deadlines and quality control times as well as establish and update technical records for all products according to the technical specifications. 
• Close collaboration with After Sales Services in order to detect technical problems, follow the trend with statistics and develop appropriate solutions. 
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers in order to manage nonconformities and solve recurring technical problems in a transparent and sustainable manner. 
• Follow Swatch Group instruction related to the legal, technical and functional requirements of the products.

Your profile

We are looking for a person with good coordination and organisation skills, willing to interact with a variety of people and personalities. You are persevering, flexible and take responsibility for your work. You are familiar with the organizational structure of an international company and enjoy working in fast moving environments.

Professional requirements

- Engineer qualification (microtechnics or electronics ) or related degree, with quality certification (TQIII or equivalent)
- Experience in Quality Management and in Project management, as well ability to work in cross-functional project teams 
- Good Microsoft Office skills and knowledge of Data Base management
- Languages : excellent oral and written skills in English and French. German and /or Italian is a plus
