Early Stage Researcher position at Trinity College Dublin, for Marie curie project INNHF

9 PERSON-MONTHS POSITION available at the Centre for Innovative Human System in TRINITY COLLEGE DUBLIN, for the final phase of Marie-Curie project INNHF 'INNovation through Human Factors in risk analysis and management’ (InnHF). 
The salary for ESR will be fully in line with the EC rules for Marie Curie grant holders: cordis.europa.eu/fp7
The salary has two components, a living allowance and a mobility allowance. 
Salary correction coefficient for Ireland applies.

Description

REQUIRED PROFILE:
- The candidate must be fluent in spoken and written English. 
- The R&D is highly multidisciplinary. An ideal candidate has a M.Sc. in Engineering, Psychology or Statistical Sciences with an adequate computational and researching background.
- Experience in field of human factors, industrial safety, risk assessment & risk management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of programming languages and/or knowledge of Matlab are an advantage
- Both female and male candidates are invited to apply.
- At the time of selection by the host organization, the researcher may not have resided or carried out his/her main activity in the country of the beneficiary for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to his/her appointment. Short stays such as holidays are not taken into account. As far as international European interest organizations or international organizations are concerned, this rule does not apply to the hosting of eligible researchers, however the appointed researcher must not have spent more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the selection by the host organization in the same appointing organization.
The ESR will conduct researches related to risk assessment, human factors and maintenance management aspects in safety engineering in collaboration with other researchers from host institution and InnHF network. He/she will:
- undertake project reporting requirements, present results to internal and external audiences; - prepare papers for journals and international conferences or seminars to disseminate research findings; 
- Write supporting documents (reports, interim reports and grant applications)
- Assist and participate within various training activities. 
- Carry out administrative roles as required; arranging project progress meetings, etc. 
- Read academic papers, journals and textbooks and attend conferences. 
- Any other duties, commensurate with the post and Marie Curie ITN regulations.
