A Programmer and Laboratory Manager is sought to support the Adaptive Brain Laboratory at the University of Cambridge.
This post is designed to support the execution of projects funded by the Wellcome Trust and European Commission. The post-holder to provide technical and computer support to a team of 10-20 individuals as well as supporting Professor Kourtzi in the coordination of a Marie Curie Initial training network.
Description
The role involves facilitating the work of the research team by providing computing and technical support for around 15 individuals. The post also involves facilitating interactions within a network of top European research laboratories (www.adaptivebrain.eu).
Applicants should have a degree in a science or engineering subject and have significant experience in maintaining networked PCs and writing computer code. Excellent organization skills, the ability to provide training and support to others, and the ability to maintain strong local and international working relationships are essential.
Funding is available for 12 months in the first instance.
