Description



Perform functional analysis of the cryogenic process to fulfil users' requirements.



Carry out thermo-mechanical and thermo-hydraulic design and analysis of cryogenic equipment.



Draw up technical specifications of cryogenic components and systems.



Take responsibility for project management and quality control.



Carry out market surveys, material procurement and production follow-up.



Supervise technicians on the design, construction, assembly, installation, testing and commissioning of cryogenic equipments.



Manage the associated technical documentation for the Quality Assurance Plan.



Qualification required 



Master's Degree in the field of Mechanical engineering (or equivalent).



Experience and competencies 



Demonstrated experience in several of the following fields:



* Thermo-mechanical design.

* Thermo-hydraulic design.

* Installation and commissioning of cryogenic or complex industrial installations, cryogenics and/or vacuum technology, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer phenomena.

* Project coordination and quality control.



The technical competencies required for this post are:



* Thermo-mechanical design.

* Mechanical analysis & modelling.

* Knowledge of thermodynamics: thermodynamics, heat transfer & fluid mechanics.

* Definition of manufacturing method, process, preparation, planning, drawing, and control.

* Commissioning & maintenance of mechanical equipment & systems.

* Project management.

The language competencies required are:



* English or French: spoken and written, with the ability to draw-up technical specifications and/or scientific reports, and/or to make oral presentations. The ability to...
