Responsible for/ensure:
- Compliance with the North Atlantic Code of Conduct
- Compliance with applicable internal and external governing requirements

- Non-compliances are promptly acted on and reported to the direct supervisor
- Training and competence assessments as assigned and/or required are performed

- Work with all business professions/areas to reduce risk, increase efficiency and maximize revenue
Job specific
Responsible for/ensure:
- Establish technical and operational requirements (TMS/IFS)
- Provide specialist advise to operations
- Verification of compliance
- Establish and maintain governing management documents and preventive maintenance through active cooperation with operating personnel
- Verify technical specifications and technical solutions for rig concepts, larger modifications or upgrades and equipment
- Execute role in the technical change control process
- Identify, recommend and verify technical studies in cooperation with operations and vendors
- Follow up on regulatory and technology development
- Develop and maintain technical content of frame agreements with vendors and specialist consultants
- Perform audits and participate in investigations to ensure compliance with requirements and acceptable asset integrity
Participate in:
- Support to operations to prevent equipment downtime
- Defining competence requirements and provide support in recruitment of key personnel
- Support in implementing governing management documents applicable to own discipline
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of the equipment/operation within own area of responsibility
- Knowledge of relevant rules and regulations
- Knowledge of the management system and organization
- Bachelor degree or higher within relevant engineering subject
- Relevant practical/operational/project experience within the area of own responsibility
