Functional Analyst ICT & Energy

In order to support our growth and extend our team of consultants in the energy sector, we are actively looking for a Functional Analyst.

Your tasks:

In the framework of the development of internal tools dedicated to trading processes in the energy sector, you will be part of a team composed of developers and architects.

- Thanks to your knowledge of the energy trading market (or equivalent), you analyze the business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements for the technical team.

- You ensure that short term commitments (actions / deadlines) are reliable and fulfilled for the dedicated tool.

- You continuously determine the optimum solution and assess the IT impact of the requested changes (risk and change analysis).

- You are in charge of the redaction of the associated necessary documents.

- You follow-up of the implementation of the solution.

- You prepare and implement test scenarios of the implemented solution.

- You report progress & evolution to the ’Deal Capture and Back Office’ domain responsible.

Your profile:

You are an engineer, preferably with a specialization in informatics and systems, computer sciences or equivalent.
After several years in C/C++ development, you are now able to understand the tasks, roles and challenges within a development team.
You have a strong analytical mind and a deep insight within the business of energy (finance could also be an asset).
You are able to communicate and interact with both the business and IT teams.
You are driven by results, have good communications skills and speak fluently English and French and/or Dutch.
Knowledge in deal and portfolio management is an asset.
