It has an installed base of over 100,000 vehicles worldwide.We are currently looking to recruiting aSpecialist Ergonomics (m/f)(to be located at one of our main locations in Europe)Purpose of the job: The job of an ergonomics engineer consists in defining the ergonomical principles for projects including design of our products with Engineering and for the set-up of workstations with Methods departments.Day to day tasks- Defining ergonomic principles for the design of products together with Engineering in order to integrate ergonomic requirements into the engineering processes and into the Service execution processes. Supporting by identifying possible improvements and designing/implementing appropriate solutions- Creating training packages to support the ergonomic principles for the several sub elements and to define the optimal human-machine interfaces- Holding trainings to establish an ergonomic culture within the organization- Support the manufacturing sites by conducting interviews and surveys of users and customers to collect information on topics such as requirements, needs, fatigue, ergonomics or interfaces and by performing functional, task, or anthropometric analysis- Defining the key principles which need to be integrated into the preventive culture process of Bombardier through the design or evaluation of human work systems, using human factors engineering and ergonomic principles to optimize usability, cost, quality, safety, or performance and support HSE in standardizing these principles throughout the whole organizationQualificationsQualifications:- University degree (technical or medical etc.) or equivalent experience with specialization in ergonomics with excellent track record- Ergonomic expert knowledge with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a technical environment- Experience in integrating ergonomic principles, preferable in a manufacturing environment- Experience in project management is a plus- Practical experience in conducting and holding trainings to diverse audiences- Ability to work independently and self-motivated, sometimes with multiple customers/sites at the same time- Knowledge of 3D tools / digital mock-up tools / CAD etc. are a plus.- Excellent oral and written skills in English and German is a must, further languages are a plus- Willingness to travel within Europe and intercontinentally min. 60% of the timeDo you recognize yourself in the description?
