Merchant Venturers' School of Engineering Fixed term contract staff Full time Salary £31,342-£35,256 (Grade I), £40,847-£45,954 (Grade K) Job number: ACAD101275 Applications are sought from highly talented engineers with experience in the field of RF systems, sub-system and circuit design to join the Communication Systems and Networks (CSN) research group at the University of Bristol. You will conduct leading edge research in the field of Frequency Agile Radio (FARAD) transceivers, with specialisation in RF architectures, circuit design, implementation and optimisation. You will have a PhD or equivalent industrial experience in the field of RF system and sub-design specification, design and implementation and will have experience of RF system and circuit design for sub 6GHz transceiver technologies, with specialisation in one or more of the following areas: Linear PAs, Low Noise Amplifiers, Mixers or tuneable filters.
