Applications are invited for a PhD studentship in Image Processing/Computer Vision with a start date between now and June 2015. The work will be based within the Communications and Signal Processing Group in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London.
The studentship will last for 3.5 years and include tuition fees as a Home student and a stipend of £16,500/year, plus allowance of travel and subsistence. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Mathematics and Signal Processing and furthermore, very good programming skills. The candidate should have a 1st class MEng or MSc degree with distinction (or equivalent) in preferably electrical engineering. Strong candidates with a degree in computer engineering, computer science and mathematics, or related subjects will be considered. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
