Simulation Model for Non Conventional Energy Storage System

The research activity id dedicated to the definition of a simulation model in Matlab environment of the battery-based energy storage system that Siemens supplied to Terna. The model includes:

- bi-direction conversion system DC/AC

- AC network up to the 150 kV terminals of the HV/MV transformer

- logic for primary and secondary control of the storage system

and it simulates transients of both short and long durations.
