Description of the job
A vacancy for a Dependability & Safety Engineer/Ground Facilities MRO program (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Saint-Médard-en-Jalles.
You will be in charge of Dependability (Reliability/Availability/Maintainability/ Safety) and Nuclear Safety activities within the context of the MRO (Maintain, Repair & Operate) phase of ground facilities related to military launcher's program.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Verifying the compliance of each ground facility during their operational life with regard to the essential performances that are safety and operability,
- Ensuring a technical support of program and customer wrt Nuclear Safety Authority,
- Analysing the technical facts in operations, assessing the drift or verify the absence of drift in RAMS performances during the MRO phase,
- Contributing to optimise Maintenance operations, analysing changes of user manual documentation and performing impact studies related to safety and operability performances,
- Achieving hazard analyses and reliability calculation, synthesizing all elements into the Dependability and Nuclear Safety Reports.
- The position requires being deeply involved with the operation teams and the teams in charge of system engineering, design office of Airbus Defence & Space and other industries and Integrated logistic support.
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly
Required skills
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- General Engineering degree,
- First experience in RAMS engineering will be an advantage,
- General knowledge on mechanical, design, electrical engineering
- Ability to understand complex systems with multidisciplinary technologies,
- Excellent writing skills,
- Analytical and synthesising skills
- Negotiation level in French and advanced level in English.
