Job description

The Vision Lab ( www.visielab.uantwerpen.be ) is a dynamic research group of the physics department at the University of Antwerp. The Vision Lab has unique expertise in the development of image processing techniques for remote sensing with specific applications in vegetation monitoring.

The current position involves the development of new analysis techniques for hyperspectral image data, with applications of vegetation monitoring in remote sensing and close-range imaging.

Your Profile

• You have a master degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Applied Sciences;
• You have a strong background in mathematics and interest in scientific research;
• You have specific expertise in one or more of the following fields:
  • Image Processing
  • Remote Sensing
  • Machine Learning
• You have profound programming skills in C++ and/or Matlab;
• You have excellent communication skills (English)
• You want to work in a team of researchers.
