Job description
As Team Leader for Dry Etch, Strip & Implant Process Engineering, with a strong technical background in the area of etch process development, you are responsible for the day-to-day support to the FAB for etch processes, as well as for etch process development and improvement projects, cycle time and operational efficiency. Your industry experience will help you to implement methodology in order to develop robust etch processes. Efficient solutions for day-to-day problems regarding process stability and quality in our 200mm (focused on MTM high end specialty components) and 300mm (focused on advanced scaling) R&D FABs are your first focus. Your practical experience in etch process development is crucial to manage goals, milestones, set the right priorities and ensure high quality processes for your team. You enjoy leading your team with solid knowledge, clear goals and up to date work planning. Being a communicative people manager, you motivate your team to reach challenging milestones. You ensure the daily collaboration with operations, hardware engineering, the etch process development teams as well as equipment suppliers run smoothly. 

Your key responsibilities are:

Securing tool stability by implementing and following up on the right process controls.
Follow up of the day-to-day issues linked to the processes in the area.
Follow up and coaching of the process development work supporting various programs and projects.
Identifying, initiating and implementation of operational efficiency improvements.
Managing the team resources to optimally support the requests from various stakeholders.
Coaching the team resources towards enhanced skill levels.
Contact with equipment suppliers.

You have a Master degree in Science or Applied Science.
You have relevant hands-on experience in etch process development. You understand the interaction between hardware and process and are able to set-up the right characterization for processes in development and tool monitoring.
You have experience in efficiently managing a team.

You have excellent planning and organizational skills.
You have efficient communication and reporting competences.
Fluency in English is essential.
Industry experience is an asset.
