They are looking for a Senior Fire Protection / Risk Engineers and Fire Safety Consultants for its office in Nicosia, Cyprus. The candidate(s) will be based in Cyprus and will be travelling on a regular basis to the Middle East region on short assignments.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Undertake site surveys and data collection
• Prepares FEED, Conceptual, Detailed Design, Design Philosophy of Fire Safety Systems
• Design of Fire Water Network for Tank Farms, Bulk Plants, Refineries, Petrochemical plants, Fire water pumping systems including fire water pumps, storage tanks, Water Spray Systems for all applications including, spheres, above ground vessels, transformers, storage tanks, flammable and combustible pumps, Sprinkler systems (Wet, Dry and Pre-Action)
• Undertake design calculations
• Witness systems testing & commissioning
• Prepare project reports
• Prepare project presentations for the client
• Resolve any technical issues
• Communication with clients | | Number of persons required: | 1 | | Qualifications required: | Qualifications/Experience Required:
• University degree in fire engineering or other engineering discipline
• Minimum 15 year experience as a senior engineer
• Oil & Gas and Petrochemical experience
• Working knowledge of NFPA codes
• NICET certification is highly desirable
• Working knowledge of hydraulic calculation software
• Good knowledge of the English language
