One vacant position for a full-time scientific project-employee at the Chair of Waste Processing Technology and Waste Management of the Department of Environmental and Energy Process Engineering from expected 1st of April 2015 in a 3 year fixed-term employment (till 31th of March 2018) (Salary group B1 of the Austrian labor agreement, monthly minimum excl. supplements € 2.662,90 for 40 hours per week (14x per year), actual classification is according to previous relevant experience).
Description
Requirements: Graduate (Diploma or Master degree) from a technical university with the focus on waste management, environmental technology, process engineering or comparable education in terms of the desired qualification.
Desirable Qualifications: Sound knowledge in the field of industrial environmental protection and environmental technology. Among activities in the field of the working group (Future) Waste Treatment , scientific support in research projects with the focus on the recovery of critical raw material out of waste is required. Problem-oriented solving of process- and material flow-related questions in the context of waste management.. The acquisition of administrative activity at the Chair is expected; willingness to cooperate in externally funded project (Contract research and funded research); excellent knowledge in German and English (spoken and written); practical experience in university teaching desired, given opportunity to develop a dissertation.
Desired characteristics: We expect teamwork and communication skills, initiative and responsibility, and reliability in performing the Chair's teaching and research.
