Job Overview
Arup require a Master Planning and Urban Design Engineer to join our team.
Role
The position will be based in our Dublin office. The ideal candidate will be looking to further their career and gain invaluable experience within an established multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.
Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum qualification - Degree in engineering (preferably civil engineering); and
- Minimum 2 years postgraduate relevant work experience.
Desirable:
- Ireland and UK work experience;
- Experience of working on projects from concept through to handover stages;
- Excellent report writing skills;
- Work experience in the following areas:
- Site development,
- Master planning,
- Urban design,
- Civil Infrastructure design,
- Sustainability,
- Planning,
- Procurement;
- Self-motivated;
- Capable of working within a team environment;
- Experience in dealing with clients;
- An understanding of procurement;
- A working knowledge of various construction contracts types; and
- Business development skills and experience.
