Areas of responsibility
You will be responsible for the overall management, execution and coordination of the construction of an onshore Operation and Maintenance facility.This includes development of Site & HSE Tender document for O&M Facilities, Permit to Work System & Procedure, hand-over procedures, identification and handling of stakeholders. On site your direct reference will be the O&M Facilities Civil Manager.
Furthermore, your key duties will be:
- Take responsibility for health and safety for all O&M Facilities activities during the Execution phase and to establish a safety culture amongst all involved parties on Site
- Ensure completion of construction of O&M Facilities (physical asset) on time, budget & built in accordance with specification agreed in contract and ready for handover to O&M
- Proactive management, good cooperation, communication, reporting, identification, coordination and securing of interfaces, including alignment of scope of work and deliverables
- Ensure that Lessons Learned and Best Practice are implemented
- Ensure Clients requirements and tasks are transferred to appointed Principal Contractor and his Site Management Organisation for execution as specified in Contracts and governing DE Site & HSE Management documents
- Oversee that the construction is made in accordance withrequirement, specifications and standards defined by Operations (Operation Preparation Manager)
- Participate in Tender process for ensuring compliancy with O&M Facilities Site requirements
Your profile
You will have proven high-level management experience of construction activities in construction projects gained within the building construction industry or similar. You should also have substantial experience with HSE management and CDM.
You have a relevant technical education, ideally within civil engineering or relevant construction related qualifications.
You will be a proven leader and possess strong communication skills, able to cooperate effectively and across professional disciplines. You will have a proactive result-orientated approach and be prepared to work intensely during busy periods. It is important that you speak and write English fluently.

You will have a strong personal drive and a robust sense of quality and professionalism, and you will be resilient and persistent. Finally, you have a well-developed common sense and ability to grasp the essence of any given circumstance.
