Full-time temporary employment. The Ph.D position is nominally four years and includes three years of research projects and one year of classes. In addition, teaching for undergraduates can be added to the position which accordingly will prolong the Ph.D program.
Description
We are looking for a student with an interest in physics, technology and design of ultra-low-noise transistors and amplifiers for microwave applications. In particular, we look for students interested in one or more of the following subjects: Device physics, nanofabrication, electrical high-frequency measurements, device models and circuit design.
The Ph.D student position gives you both a base in microwave technology as well as a cutting edge in a device research subject which prepare you in defending an academic thesis at a public dissertation.
