We are currently looking for an experienced adviser to reinforce our ‘Orgalime Partnership’ department, which consists of a 10-member team offering services to over 20 European Sector Associations in the engineering industry.

Job Description:

The adviser will be in charge of one or several European trade associations. He or she will be managing their activities, both internally and externally and in collaboration with other members of the Partnership team.

Main tasks will include:

Involvement in the definition and active implementation of the associations’ work plan and strategy;
Identification, assessment, information and action on relevant issues for the sector;
Regular contacts with and reports to the associations’ members and governing bodies;
Organising working groups and administration of the association (budget, legal…);
Represent the sector and its interests towards EU institutions and stakeholders;
Internal and external communication.

Profile:

University degree (law, politics or engineering). At least five years’ working experience, preferably in an EU policy environment or in an engineering company;
A sound understanding of business processes, the functioning of associations and the EU regulatory environment;
Strong capabilities for building and maintaining relations internally and externally;
Ability to multi-task and prioritise;
Understanding of budgeting and financial reports;
Marketing experience;
Leadership, motivation and presentation skills;
Computer, internet and social media savvy;
Excellent knowledge of English (working language) and at least one other EU language.
