For the Risk, Treasury & Facility Management Solutions department in Vattenfall IT we are looking for an Application Manager Risk Solutions (m/f) for our locations Hamburg, Berlin or Amsterdam.
Your job as Application Manager Risk Solutions
- You ensure the stable operation of our applications and support our users (e.g. EnergyCredit, Matlab, Moody’s, Plexos, SAS)
- You coordinate application service activities within Vattenfall IT
- You perform technical analysis, design and testing for changes and projects
- You implement reports and interfaces for our applications
- You are responsible for the management of external vendors and your IT colleagues in order to ensure quality and efficiency
Your profile as Application Manager Risk Solutions
- Academic degree in computer science or comparable work experience
- Good knowledge of software engineering topics (project management, requirements engineering, software testing, ITIL)
- Experience in handling databases, preferably SQL Server
- Practical experience in a programming language is beneficial
- Excellent English skills, written and spoken
- Friendly, self-confident and prudent manner and good communication skills
- Joy in working as interface between different IT departments, external vendors and businesses
- Interest in both – IT and Risk Management related topics
- Ability to develop in a fast changing environment
- Ability to analyze problems on a detailed technical level
- Experience in financial risk management, capital markets or energy trading in an additional asset
