LEO Pharma is looking for a Sales & Operations Planning Manager who can lead and drive the Sales & Operations Planning process for one of our global Brand Value Chains.

As Sales & Operations Planning Manager you will be part of the Sales & Operations Planning team which consists of 9 dedicated team members. The team is located in our head office in Ballerup, Denmark and you will report to the Head of Sales & Operations Planning.

The Sales & Operations Planning team belongs to our global supply chain function Global Product Supply.  

The role as Sales & Operations Planning Manager
Your main responsibility is to deliver the Sales & Operations Plan and to secure the balance of global demand and global supply under consideration of our production capacity and our inventory targets.

In case you identify a supply and/or capacity imbalance, you must secure timely decision making within the monthly Sales & Operations Planning cycle. You will do this by analyzing and consolidating data, highlighting imbalances and leading the monthly Sales & Operations Planning process and team to take the right decisions. You work with a cross functional S&OP team representing Global Sourcing, Production Sites, Contract Manufacturing Organization, Global Sales & Marketing and Global Product Supply Finance.

Additionally, you will be responsible for the long term strategic capacity planning based on our long term business plans and you will take part or lead business projects relating to your Brand Value Chain.

All in all, what makes this role especially attractive is that it covers a large area of responsibility, including overall strategic planning to hands on operations.

The job will require travelling mainly to France and Ireland. You should expect 24 days of travelling per year.

Your personal profile 
You hold a BSc or MSc degree within Supply Chain Management or other relevant Supply Chain education topped with a minimum of five years of experience in working with Supply Chain and planning processes. Your IT skills are strong and you have thorough experience with Microsoft Office, SAP ECC, SAP SCM Supply Network Planning and Business Object.

We expect you to have strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver analysis for timely decision making. You are motivated by continuous development of our Sales & Operations Planning process and your ability to communicate at all levels in the organization makes it easy for you to create a strong network around your Brand Value Chain.

You have the unique combination of being able to both use your holistic business understanding at an overall level and also being motivated by having hands on responsibilities doing operational tasks – thus, both power, perspective and structure are key characteristics for you as a person.

Fluency in English is a must.
