Communication architectures and advanced applications in support of chronic patients and elderly people in domestic environments

The research activity will be focused on the devising of small devices capable i) to perform monitoring and actuation tasks, ii) to become aware of similar devices surrounding them, and iii) to self-organize themselves to autonomously create social relations with the nearby objects to the purpose of cooperating and performing complex tasks such as assuring the most suitable living condition for chronically ill and elderly people.
