Basic qualifications: 

•University/Master degree: Psychology, Legal, HR, Economy, Commercial engineers, other.
•Solid experience in HR or relevant Business experience
•Proven expertise in employee relations with sound understanding of employment law.
•Experience of leading and delivering change.
•Ability to effectively coach employees and managers at all levels of the organization.

Job Purpose 

Partner with the business to deliver high quality, standardized HR interventions across a range of HR activities in order to enable line managers and employees to add maximum value to the business and achieve the business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

•Responsible for providing HR Manager support, across all HR activities, to all levels of employees and line managers in a dedicated business in Vx, Belgium.
•Partner with line managers to deliver key, high quality, standardised HR processes/interventions & specific solutions aligned with the HR and the business strategy.
•Ensure HR presence in the field.
•Key partner for recruitment, grading, performance management & change management activities below the Leadership Team.
•Provide guidance to line managers around employee relations issues to ensure that GSK is not exposed to legal challenges resulting in costs and potential damage to GSK reputation.
•Foster a positive employee relations climate.
•Be the contact point for solving individual cases with business and trade unions.
•Participate to monthly meeting with trade unions.
•Diagnose & solve complex issues/queries across a wide range of HR subjects, not managed by the Transactional Shared Services.
•Key delivery channel for initiatives developed by the HR Centres of Excellence.
•Coaching and development of line managers around HR policies and processes.
•Facilitate intervention focused on team and individual development. Supports GSK’s Talent Management philosophy by ensuring that all employees are able to contribute to their full potential through employee development, employee relations and coaching support.
•Support HRBL in Talent Management activities
•Delivery of medium/large scale project activities across a wide range of HR subjects within their dedicated business, across multiple businesses or across the integrated Vaccines business.
•Largely involved in processes/projects HRBL are accountable for (ex: reorganization, downsizing, change management, etc.)
•Drive standardisation across and within business units in order to simplify HR service delivery.
•Lead improvement of HR efficiency and effectiveness in line with the HR Strategy.

•Will lead the delivery of HR strategy, activities, specific solutions & projects across all HR related matter (recruitment, people development, performance management, career progression, employee life cycle,  mobility, disciplinary actions, etc., )
•Will ensure employment law will be respected.
•Will manage a constructive trade unions & employee environment.
•Will manage complex queries and issue.
•Will implement and accompany change management.
•Will influence, manage & implement new organization design.

•Deal with sensitive organizational & individual issues in a complex and rapidly changing environment.

•Has to identify, diagnose, analyze, propose & implement solutions aligned with the HR & business strategies.
•Lead HR projects in different HR matter alone or in collaboration with the other HRG or with the HRBL.
•Be required to define new approaches, and establish new ways of working with all HR and with employees and line managers implementing best practice wherever possible and ensuring changes are fully communicated and embedded in the HR Service team. 
•Manage mobility in relationship with HR colleagues around the globe.
•Lead improvement of HR efficiency and effectiveness in line with the HR Strategy.

Interaction
•Must have the credibility to influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization of the business s/he is accountable for.
•Has to influence with no hierarchical link.
•Key link to communicate & implement strategies, processes, ways of working deployed in the different HR CoE.
•Key contact in the field for the major HR questions or issues from the employees, line managers or trade unions.
•Key link with the HR Services being a requester of transactional actions and being an essential source of feedback to improve the HR Services ways of working.
•Lead internal communication & engagement activities to increase employee morale & foster a positive employee relations climate
•Facilitator to create alignment across the different businesses

•Has to deal with employee diversity in a more & more multicultural environment.
•Has to deal with employee diversity mainly in global mobility procedure.
