My client is a U.S. chemical corporation operating worldwide and their principal office and place of work is in Switzerland.

The Technical Service Representative is responsible for providing technical support for my client's customers in the Europe Middle East & Africa region. Extensive travel is part of the role and it is important that this is something you like doing!



As a 'consultant' you are the one diagnosing customer processes and equipment issues, determining product and process root causes. You coordinate and assist in product qualifications, including trials at customer sites. This involves as well classroom and shop-floor customer training regarding my client's products and equipment processes used at the manufacturing site.
 While at the office you analyze and summarize internal and customer data, write reports and feedback for the internal QA department and interact with team-focused internal sales specialist: you are a subject matter expert in product and product processing.



Your profile: 


  • Bachelor or Masters-level technical degree (in mechanical or process engineering, chemical or textile) is mandatory

  • 3-5 years demonstrated proficiency in technical trouble shooting and problem solving, especially in the field of mechanical processes
;
  • Experience in data analysis and presentation using Microsoft Office software
;
  • Self-starter who takes initiative in developing and maintaining technical expertise and enjoys a high-level of interaction with customers and internal stakeholders;
  • Written and spoken proficiency in English is required. Other regional language skills are a plus
;
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the EMEA region.
