Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated project leader in Chemical and Analytical Development (CHAD). He/she will be responsible for all technical activities related to the development of safe, efficient and high quality drug substance manufacturing processes (small molecules) for assigned projects. He/she will lead and manage global and/or local departmental project teams by developing the departmental project strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy. Furthermore, the job offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional project teams within Development as well as with internal or external partners.
Minimum requirements
We are looking for a candidate with an advanced degree in chemistry, chemical/process engineering or related science (Ph.D. or equivalent) with more than 5 years of professional experience in chemical or pharmaceutical industry. Good knowledge of English (oral and written). Desirable good German knowledge. You would bring in addition the following professional experiences with you:
- Several years’ experience within the chemical or healthcare industry.
- Proven track record in successfully leading inter-disciplinary teams (incl. definition of goals and objectives as well as budget control).
- Profound understanding of regulatory and quality standards and policies (cGMP).
- Strong leadership and presentation skills.
- Desirable: People management experience as line-function manager.
