Greycon Ltd is looking for a recent graduates or junior professionals to join our successful distributed team that develops and supports leading-edge, quality-driven software for the manufacturing industry. Greycon was established in 1985 in London and quickly grew into one of the major producers of software for the paper and plastic film industries. Nowadays, it operates globally with customers in 41 countries and has offices in China, Finland, Greece, UK, Uruguay & USA.
Skills
The ideal candidate should have:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant Science-based course
• Fluency in the English language, strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Greek
• Knowledge of .Net Framework, C# and VB.Net (This knowledge will be tested – in English – as part of the recruitment process)
• Flexible and proactive attitude, ability to work as part of a distributed global team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A passion for programming and IT technologies
Knowledge of any of the following will be considered an advantage:
• SQL Server or Oracle databases
• Test-driven development and Unit testing
Work experience
• 1-2 years work experience in a relevant position will be considered an advantage.
