The Post Doctoral Researcher will work in a team of postdoctoral researchers and PhD students under the supervision of Prof. Tiziana Margaria (UL) on Spoke Project TP-1 SMDH1 WP3: Self-Learning, Efficient and Secure Access Control. The goal is to investigate the efficient computation platform underlying the access control application, with servification of existing algorithms and the exploitation at the workflow level of possible optimisations in the underlying computation. This researcher should, therefore, have a deep understanding of agile model driven design and experience with decision support systems. He/she will be involved in a co-supervisory capacity for the PhD students associated with this Spoke Project and Hub A1WP3 and C2 WP1/WP2, and collaborate with Lero researchers in UL and ICHEC.
The Post Doctoral Researcher should have a strong publication record as well as excellent writing skills. He/she must also have a good understanding of the needs of both academic and industry audiences and must be able to adapt dissemination material as needed.

Essential Criteria:
• PhD in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience and a deep understanding of agile model driven design, and experience with decision support systems.
• Substantial experience of research in a relevant area.
• Previous supervision experience.
• Strong publication record.
• Excellent Writing skills.
Desirable Criteria:
• Strong software-related technical skills.
• Good record of services to, and participation in, the academic community.
• Good dissemination skills targeting also non-academic audiences (industry-focused).
