Description
The Post Doctoral Researcher in Software Process/Quality/Modelling will work in the Process Quality Research Group (PQRG), a team of postdoctoral researchers and PhD students under the supervision of Dr Ita Richardson (UL). The team’s research focuses on software process and software quality, with an emphasis on hybrid software development including global, regulated and lean. They have also studied implementation of software systems within Finance, Medical Device, Healthcare and Connected Health companies. A key component of the research undertaken by the PQRG involves analysing, evaluating and modelling the processes undertaken.
Candidates should have previously acquired knowledge of software processes, quality and modelling. Having experience of software development processes in practice is desirable. The research will be in close collaboration with Lero’s industry partners. The successful candidate will jointly supervise PhD projects, and will collaborate primarily with Lero researchers in the University of Limerick, Dundalk Institute of Technology and NUI Galway.
