We are looking for a postdoctoral candidate to join the TERMeG group within the Dept. of Bioengineering and Aerospace Engineering of the UC3m (Madrid), which is currently developing a new, international, multidisciplinar and ambitious program on “Bioinspired Bioengineering” (mechanotransduction, 3D-bioprinting, advanced biomaterials, tissue-on-a-chip, etc.).

• Applicants must be PhD holders with 4-10 years of postdoctoral research experience to provide them with training to deepen and/or widen their skills and to start or consolidate their own independent research team or project.
• Applicants may be of any nationality. 
• Applicants must engage in international mobility: Researchers may not have resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the deadline of the call.

The Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine Group of the Department of Bioengineering in UC3M consists of about 20 research fellows including professors, post-docs and PhD students, whose activities cover the fields of cell/tissue and molecular engineering.

Our research interests are focused on advancing human health through understanding complex living systems. Our mission is to create a fusion of engineering, medicine, biology and genetics that promotes scientific discovery and the development of new biomedical therapies through research and education.
