Our client is a worldwide and truly international manufacturer of food products, with one of its most important manufacturing plants situated to the north of Brussels (on the axis Brussels – Mechelen).
To strengthen its maintenance team, they are at the moment looking for an experienced
Maintenance Manager
Overall purpose of the role:
You will manage the Maintenance Department, consisting of mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, automation, facilities & asset management, work planning & scheduling and contractor mgt., and this to meet site targets with respect to plant OEE, budgets and SHEQ aspects.
You set priorities and guide the Maintenance Team Leaders on setting and delivering their objectives. You will lead the implementation and the continuous improvement of maintenance processes, systems and procedures.
You will encourage and foster a culture of safety and productivity; lead and manage the Maintenance Team Leaders and set priorities for special problems or constraints.
You will develop maintenance SLA's together with the Production department and establish KPI's and You will implement a TPM program within the Maintenance Department.
You will coach the Maintenance Leaders and build trust between the Production and Maintenance departments.
You will assure good top-down/bottom up and horizontal communication of all relevant information.
Your will become responsible for a department of > 30 FTE’s and your total budget responsibility will be +/- 6 million €.
Qualifications / Experience
Master in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical or Civil Engineering
At least 10 years of industrial experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial maintenance role is essential
Experience in Continuous Improvement Programs and TPM set-up is required
Fluency in Dutch and English is essential
