12 Scholarships leading to a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

The Institutes of Mechanical, Process & Energy Engineering, Sensors, Signals & Systems and Biological Chemistry, Biophysics and Bioengineering at Heriot-Watt University are advertising 12 James Watt Scholarships leading to a PhD in either Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering across a range of topics, to start in autumn 2015. These scholarships provide stipend (£15k pa) and full fees for 3 years and are available to UK/EU/international students.

All applicants must have or expect to have a 1st class MPhys, MSci, MEng or equivalent degree by Autumn 2015. Selection will be based on academic excellence and research potential, and all short-listed applicants will be interviewed (in person, by ‘phone or by Skype).
