The position 
Based on a strong scientific background with research and industrial experience you will drive the coordination of our scientific agenda, publication plans, scientific meetings, training events and symposia and engage with global collaborators for the further expansion of our scientific platform and development of novel solutions in the future.

You will be part of our sales and marketing function, thus, scientific writing and review of commercial messages and external presentations will be a key part of your job.

You will also play a key role in coordinating, documenting and keeping track of current scientific and medical activities within the solution area and will need to cooperate cross-functionally on clinical evaluations, safety evaluations, competitor intelligence and the development of a strong platform for the scientific understanding of acne, aesthetics and biophotonics.

The position is based in Ballerup, Denmark, and significant travelling must be expected.

Your primary tasks:

• maintain a solid overview of scientific and clinical data available within the solution area
• contribute to the scientific story telling relevant for sales and marketing activities
• provide input to our preclinical, clinical and research-oriented activity plans
• identify, provide input on and facilitate potential clinical and/or scientific relationships to support our scientific strategies and manage our relationships with thought leaders and academic centers in close collaboration with other key functions
• ensure scientific and clinical evaluation and maintain adequate documentations for our product lines within acne, aesthetics & biophotonics
• participate in scientific congresses and arrange/prepare scientific meetings and symposia

The ideal candidate

Has extensive cross-functional scientific experience, preferably coupled with a good commercial understanding with the following profile:

• scientific PhD or MSc within a relevant scientific field (biochemistry, biology, biochemical engineering) with a minimum of 8 years’ industrial experience
• experience within the field of acne, laser and light therapies or aesthetic medicine is preferred
• appreciation of the intricate relationship between scientific integrity and commerce is a must
• strong proven communication skills
• a dynamic team player with an entrepreneurial mind-set
• interested in extensive global travels (at least 50-80 days a year)
