We are currently seeking for an excellent and dynamic individual for the position of Senior Information Technology Specialist on behalf of our client.
The main duties of the role will be:
• Work with the team responsible for the software development, testing and support of various IT products
• Work with the team responsible for the administration & support of the production environment.
• Work on various projects assigned to the ITAS department
• Perform IT Security Checks, Operational IT Audits, Internal/External Penetration Tests, Vulnerability Assessments, Special IT Investigations.
• Support the Compliance and Internal Audit Departments | | Number of persons required: | 0 | | Qualifications required: | We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Masters in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering
• Four (4) to six (6) years of experience in an IT related position
• Strong software development and/or scripting skills
• Previous experience with Linux server systems administration
• Previous experience with relational databases systems administration & maintenance
• Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
• Team spirit, good character, excellent problem solving abilities and willingness to develop
• Previous experience with the Perl programming language and with the Mysql database server will be considered an advantage
• Substantial knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 platform as well as the standard networking protocols and substantial knowledge of the IT systems used in the Forex Industry (MT4/MT5, Back-offices, CRM, Bridges, etc.) will be considered a plus | | Other requirements: | Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.
