They are expanding their operation in Nicosia and are now looking for a Network and Systems Engineer.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate ability for high quality deliverables working as part of a team of specialists to often tight deadlines. An ability and willingness to travel within and outside Cyprus is a must as are strong references (academic and professional).
Responsibilities
It is expected that the chosen professional will be able to demonstrate an understanding of networking and VoIP technologies, and work to often tight deadlines, across numerous simultaneous projects, in a very dynamic environment. | | Number of persons required: | 1 | | Qualifications required: | The role assumes a minimum of two years experience in a similar capacity within an IT environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. A Master’s degree in a related field will be considered an advantage.
Cisco CCNA and Microsoft MCSA Certifications are required. Other Cisco/Microsoft certifications will be considered an advantage.
Excellent working experience with Microsoft Windows Servers Operating Systems (Active Directory/DNS/DHCP/NPS).
Understanding of the technical security implications and needs for Windows 2003/2008/2012/XP/Vista/7/8, Linux, Solaris Operating Systems.
Hands-on experience in implementation and operation of Routers, Switches, Active Directory, Exchange 2007/2010/2013.
Database administration (MS SQL) experience will be considered an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of networking design principles and protocols: o TCP/IP, IPv4 IPv6Layer 2, Layer 3 and Layer 4-7 networking concepts
In-depth understanding of IP routing principles and protocols
Analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to deliver high quality and client focused deliverables.
