| Job title : | Electrical Mechanical Technician |
| Job description: | MEKEL is an Engineering & Contracting company specialized in the field of water and wastewater treatment. Our scope of delivery extends from consulting, planning, design, installation, commissioning to the operational management and maintenance of plants and systems. Currently, we are looking to expand our team with an Electrical Mechanical Technician. This role is part of a team responsible for the execution of the electromechanical installation, repair, operation and maintenance of water related projects such as pumping stations, water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants and for providing technical support and after-sales services to our broad customer base. Duties may include but are not limited to: -Maintain and operate equipment and services -Overseeing the installation, operation and repair to ensure that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications -Preparation of tools and equipment, and paperwork requirements -Troubleshoot all technical issues, operate and maintain lease equipment -Operate equipment such as engine driven pumps, generators, compressors, hoists, forklifts, cranes and other heavy equipment -In charge of maintaining the company's warehouse clean and tidy -Maintaining records of the on-going projects and document them properly -In charge of receiving equipment for repair and also preparation of equipment to be repaired -In charge of carrying out work assignments to the highest quality level and at the same time keeping up with all processes i.e. HSE Program and Emergency Calls -Ensure safe work practices are followed -Responsible of reporting a problem immediately to supervisor and assist supervisor when needed -Be flexible to work any shift, weekends, holidays and standby that is mandatory for some assignments -Other duties as allocated by the management within the physical constraints of the job |

| Qualifications required: | -A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical and mechanical installations -Basic knowledge in Water and wastewater treatment operations -Fluent in Greek and English (reading & writing) -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment -Excellent communication skills when working with various teams -High level of skill in planning and working to tight deadlines -Team-player |
