We are recruiting a Software Quality Engineer to work with a leading Medical Devices company in Austria. This is a permanent role to join the R&D department of the organisation and with work within a small team of 6 other Engineers.
The Software Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the development of medical device software according to international quality standards. They will execute software tests and continuously improve the software testing process. In addition, the Software Engineer will create and review relevant quality assurance (QA) documentation.
For this role, the client is looking for a candidate with 1-3 years relevant experience in software testing and quality management systems (QMS). In addition, candidates should have the following:
- Degree level qualification in medical technology, information technology or Engineering discipline;
- Experience in software testing and quality management systems;
- Knowledge of software development processes and regulatory requirements for medical device industry is highly desirable but not essential;
- Excellent English language skills and basic knowledge of German is required;
- Proactive attitude and an accurate approach to work.
