Postdoctoral Researcher for Participatory Modelling

As a postdoctoral researcher in the Methodology and System Dynamics Group you will be responsible for research activities and the day-to-day coordination of the EU funded Horizon 2020 project ’Global systems Rapid Assessment tools through Constraint FUnctional Languages (GRACeFUL)’. You will take care of running facilitated sessions regarding the problem case of climate-resilient urban design. You will evaluate newly developed rapid assessment tools and support the development of a domain-specific language for system dynamics models. You will contribute to and co-author various publications in peer-reviewed journals." title="

Description

- you hold a PhD in business administration, computer science, psychology, or a related field; 
- you have relevant experience in facilitating participatory problem solving or modelling sessions; 
- you have a demonstrable ability to conduct high-quality research and experience with working in teams; 
- you have experience with modelling and simulation, and preferably also with system dynamics; 
- you are willing to work on an interdisciplinary project, mainly driven by computer science experts; 
- you have an excellent command of the English language.
