The Institute of Mechanical Engineering (IMW) of the Technical University of Clausthal analyzes, calculates, simulates, tests and optimizes statically and dynamically stressed machine elements. Its work ranges from finding creative solutions in the field of product development and design to the assessment of the product’s acoustic behaviour.

Research Assistant (TV-L 13)
Specialization: shaft hub connections
Expected job duties:
- Developing innovative testing concepts for shaft hub connections
- Conducting experimental and numerical trials on the stress levels of shaft hub connections
- Designing new calculation models for the layout of innovative shaft hub connections
- Assisting with the education of students
We are looking for applicants who have completed their engineering studies with above-average results. Furthermore, applicants should be able to work in a team, being creative and highly-motivated, providing good German and English language skills.
