The Information Systems Manager is a team member of the Management Control Department, which is dedicated to: 1. internal control of the economic and financial management of the CRG, collecting data and information in order to analyze and verify that they are aligned to the centre objectives; 2. support for Centre decision making (Director & CEO); 3. management of business information.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the application management services, focused on 1. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management; 2. Business Intelligence (BI) Management; and 3. management of other applications and databases.
Description
Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Management - Oracle
• Ensuring the reliability of the information contained in the ERP.
• Providing training courses on Oracle applications and modules to key users
• Managing Oracle developments, maintenance, Functional and technical analysis
• Providing Oracle helpdesk and on-site support
• Providing Oracle external project management: evaluation of the requirements; functional analysis; cost analysis; supervise implementation
• Control Oracle Budget system
2. Business Intelligence (BI) Management
• Partner with the Technology teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform.
• Oversee all aspects of analytics and business intelligence projects.
• Develop and maintain reporting and analytical tools (Hyperion tools: PCBS/Essbase)
3. Other Applications and Databases
• Corporate Reporting.
• Advising on information treatment to other management departments.
• Managing Oracle integration with other Management Applications/Databases (Inteum, Idea Elan, QSuite, Fundanet)
• Integration between Oracle and external applications with Web Services Technology.
Requirements
Studies:
• University level Degree preferred in Engineering or IT.
Technical skills required:
• Oracle EBS R12 expert.
• SQL Advanced Level.
• Java knowledge.
• Excellent Understanding of Data Integration Tools (ETL), Web Services and Application/Database interaction
• Strong understanding of system and business process
• With ability in convert business concepts to technical.
Additional beneficial skills:
• Excel Advanced Level,
• Excellent Communication/Presentation/ Writing skills
Languages:
• Fluent level of Catalan, Spanish and English
