We are looking for highly skilled and experienced people to build the technology platform for BT's future.For our Sites in Vasteras, Hennigsdorf, Berlin area, Crespin, Derby, St. Bruno, Brugge, Zurich and various other sites, we are currently looking to recruit a:CTO TCMS Generic Vehicle Application Engineer (Software Engineer)Purpose of the jobThe CTO TCMS Generic Vehicle Application Team is responsible for ensuring the highest level of standardization possible in vehicle application software across all vehicle projects in BT and to achieve 50%-70% of software to be generic (Core). The CTO TCMS Software Engineer is part of a team of engineers responsible for the development and maintenance of robust and high quality Generic Application Software components that will be delivered to projects in the vehicle divisions.The main priorities are- Design, development and maintenance of core vehicle application software components that can be used across various vehicle projects BT wide.- Follow and apply the full chain of software development, from requirements, design, implementation up to software test and verification- Troubleshooting, defect tracking and correctingThe CTO TCMS Software Engineer must have good skills in Modeling Language as well as in embedded C/C++. Having experience for development with SIL0/SIL2 products and with EN50128 (software application) is a plus.Key responsibilities and challenges- Vehicle application software requirement analysis, design, configuration management, implementation, test and verification, including documentation and customer support.- Software maintenance, troubleshooting, defect tracking and correcting- Design reviews, code inspection, FMEA analysis and problem solving activities.- Support activities, such us planning, reporting, participation in CCBs, competence transfer, coordination, training and process improvements.QualificationsEducation level- B/MSc EE in computer science or any other relevant disciplineExperience- A bachelor of science degree (or higher) and at least 5 years of experience as a software engineer.- Excellent knowledge about the state-of-the-art in software-development and testing is mandatory.- Fluent in English.- Experiences from other industrial sectors, e.g. automotive, aerospace are very much appreciated.
