Minimum Requirements:• Proven manager for >$20MM (ground-up) construction projects
• BS in safety, health or industrial hygiene, environmental engineering or demonstrated equivalent. (i.e HVK, MOSHE, AH, MSc)
• 10+ years’ experience supporting site construction health and safety activities
• Significant expertise in applying judgment and strategic thinking towards risk situations and demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and EH&S related legislation
• OSHA certifications required. OSHA 500 Construction Safety Instructor preferred. 
• 5+ years’ experience managing staff. Must be able to effectively supervise, mentor, and motivate junior employees.
• 5+ years’ experience as construction safety supervisor for ground-up construction projects
• Working knowledge and demonstrated experience in OSHA 1910 and OSHA 1926
• First-aid/CPR Certified.
• Must have an expert level working knowledge of grade / survey equipment, construction / heavy equipment operation, construction drawings, and other typical construction equipment and technologies.
• Experience with construction specific certifications i.e., confined space, scaffolding, trenching, excavation, high voltage work areas, etc.
• Must be able to collect data on accidents and injuries, perform accident / injury investigations, implement corrective actions and communicate with both front-line staff and senior managers
. Fluent language skills in French, English and prefarably in Dutch.
Job Description:Maintain the established site Safety Policies/Procedures and Accident Prevention Program for current client locations globally and assist with development and implementation of construction safety guidelines for new client locations. Provide high quality site safety support for team members, contractors and subcontractors on-site. Ensures team members contractors and subcontractors comply with safety requirements. Implement and update the Emergency Response plan, conduct site safety orientations and training, and ensure compliance with contractual documents (Client, OSHA, EPA and Belgian Safety and prevention legislations). Work with contractors and subcontractors to integrate client construction safety programs and establish self-sufficient teams at each global location.

• Set vision and goals to expand current service offering supporting construction safety
•Prepare and supervise marketing strategy for key clients with focus area being hi-tech / data centers
•Ability to collaborate with program leads to manage multiple significant programs
•Proven capacity to changing safety culture through human performance methods and leading indicators
•Drive zero-incident safety culture across multiple projects
•Assist with development of and review of pre-job hazard assessments 
•Develop and provide site specific safety orientation to client staff, contractors and subcontractors working on the project/program
•Develop or assist with development of accident or injury investigation program for all incidents, accidents, near misses that happen on the project and upload to reporting system
•Perform daily site inspections, documenting observations and making corrections immediately when necessary
•Work directly with contractors and subcontractors
•Review all safety documentation/reports for accuracy and completeness
•Manage and implement the site Drug Free Workplace Program including post-accident alcohol and drug testing
•Provide assistance developing and review applicable required safety training
•Manage site specific safety training documents and ensure training is complete
•Perform mandatory inspections –PPE, Fall Protection, LOTO audits, etc.
•Primary Shift is day shift but must be able to work afternoon shift occasionally
•Supervise, train and mentor junior level staff and contractors/subcontractors on the implementation of the clients construction health and safety expectations
•Travel for limited periods, if necessary. It is anticipated that a Construction Supervisor / Construction Manager will work on-site 90-95% of the time; however, this estimate may change based on client and project needs.
