Would you like to be part of an innovative project team that will address complex systems engineering design with a ‘right first time through design’ approach? We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to lead at an operational management level, collaborative research and knowledge transfer activities with Jaguar Land Rover.

The successful candidate will have academic and industrial experience coupled with research interest in methodologies driving engineering and process excellence in automotive product development and advanced manufacturing. You will be involved in research and knowledge transfer activities, in particular in relation to the industrial partnership and collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover, and the delivery of the workplace based MSc in Engineering and Process Excellence.

You will hold a BEng/ MEng Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline as well as a PhD in a relevant engineering discipline. Along with this you will be proficient in working with engineers and specialists in product development organisations and manufacturing industry and you will have experience of development and delivery of academic or industrial taught modules for professional development, including assessment of learning.
