Development of techniques for dynamic resource management for multi-core and embedded applications

The goal of the research is to design and develop a dynamic resource manager (RTRM) as the evolution of some already running research projects. In particular the goals are to

- Manage multi-core systems especially under the therma/power standpoint

- Development of hardware and software for embedded application, with particular emphasis on the wireless sensor networks

- Maintain the open source distribution project

- Work on the evolution of the RTRM in the direction of HPC distributed architectures. This includes also allocation and scheduling of the processes onto the available cores

The reserach might be part of european research projects, thus with the need to work on deliverables and present the results during international forums.
