Asistant

The candidate should meet the following requirements:
• having a PhD degree in science in the field of materials engineering;
• documented scientific achievements in the field of engineering of nickel-based superalloys and magnesium alloy;
• knowledge and experience in operation of devices such as: scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM) using in the microstructure and substructure analyses of engineering materials;
• knowledge and experience in operation of devices such as: FIB (Focused Ion Beam) and Plasma Cleaner, dedicated for thin foil preparation for TEM and STEM investigations;
• knowledge and experience in the field of: energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis (EDS), electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) and Electron Channeling Contrast Imaging (ECCI);
• experience in participation in research grants;
• fluency in written and spoken Polish and English language.
