Apply for a PhD-position on Early school leaving in vocational education

Students below the age of 24 without a higher secondary certificate and who are not further enrolled in education or training are considered to be school dropouts. This research should obtain more insights in the following research questions:
- What are the observed characteristics of vocational education students who are at risk of dropping out of education?
- How does the labour market position differ between vocational education students who graduated and who dropped out of school?
- How does the labour market function as a pull factor for vocational students?
- What interventions work to reduce the number of early school leaving in vocational education?
