SKILLS: We are looking for a highly motivated researcher with a background in material science, chemistry, physics or with a proven experience on the following: CNTs growth, carbon nanotubes characterization at the molecular scale (Raman, XRD, AFM, SEM etc), polymers (processing and characterization at the molecular and/or macroscale), DMA and AFM testing, microfabrication in clean room. A direct experience in carbon nanotube composites for reinforcement and/or dissipation is highly appreciated.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Within the framework of an AFOSR project, one Post-Doctoral Scholar Position (Assegno di Ricerca) with the title: "Carbon nanotube nanocomposites with high dissipation capability" (Nanocompositi con nanotubi di carbonio dalle elevate capacità dissipative) is available in the Department of Engineering at the University of Rome, RomaTre (Material Science Division). The project aims at developing nanotube composites with an innovative approach.

Benefits
The contract is for one year, renewable up to 3 years to cover the entire duration of the project. The yearly gross salary is of € 22820 (approximate net monthly salary € 1400). The health insurance is covered by the social security system.
