The studentships are for four years and are open to UK/EU students (partially funded for EU students). Each studentship will cover university and college fees with a stipend of at least £13,863 per year. Applicants are normally expected to be predicted or have achieved a first-class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree (or equivalent international qualifications), as a minimum, in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, statistics or other related disciplines.
Candidates will need to demonstrate a broad interest in the four AIMS themes:
- robotics, vision and perception
- machine intelligence and multi-agent systems
- control and verification
- pervasive networked sensing and actuator systems
