You will undertake applied research of direct relevance to manufacturers, industry, policy makers and physical scientists. With a strong grasp of multidisciplinary risk issues, a background in toxicology and the hazard assessment of chemical agents including metals, you will employ new or existing tools to analyse risks within manufacturing systems considering the manufacture of safe and sustainable volatile elements and communicate the research outputs to audiences with varying levels of technical understanding. As a clear, creative thinker of demonstrable numerate ability, you will be comfortable synthesising complex information and writing papers, proposals and reports.
