JOB DESCRIPTION
An opening is available for a Post Doc researcher to work in theoretical and experimental research in the framework of a research project on subjects related to FELs (Free Electron lasers) and electron beam interactions with light: Beam micro-dynamics, FEL coherence enhancement, compact X-UV FELs, and laser acceleration.
The research at Tel Aviv University includes theoretical analysis and computer simulations. The position involves travel and cooperative work with US Laboratories (UCLA, SLAC, BNL).
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Required qualifications:
- Experience in at least some of the fields - Electromagnetics, lasers, computer simulations, accelerators.
