The Research Training Group (RTG 1653) funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and associated with the Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing (IWR) of the University of Heidelberg, Germany, offers
 

1 Postdoctoral Position (TV-L 14)
 

for research projects focusing on basic and applied research in the field of computational image analysis using graphical models at the interface between computer vision, statistics, machine learning and optimization.

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher to join our team. Candidates should have a related strong background and focus on research. There are no teaching duties involved. Cooperation with some ongoing PhD projects is expected.

The full-time position in the salary class TV-L 14 is to be filled for two years as from 1 December 2014 and will be open until it is taken.
